since i started my first job after\u00a0graduating\u00a0uci, i’ve definitely missed being on a university campus. i’m one of those sick people who loves school, learning, academia, nom nom nom…loooove it<\/i>.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
so when i began an office job, i knew it would be an adjustment.
\nand there are some things that make my job\u00a0<\/i>wonderful.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
and i was chomping on some pretzel sticks (after doing the first one below<\/span>),<\/div>\n
i figured that i’d finally have to get a couple of these down.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
eating pretzel sticks and pretending they’re pretzel cigarettes. we’re the rat pack.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
snack parties<\/span>– crackers, artisan cheeses, swedish fish, vitamin water<\/a>, gum, sometimes breakfast<\/a>.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
making up songs. a lot of them.\u00a0being able to sing<\/span> this freely and have people join in.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
workout<\/span> breaks with pushups & back-kicks. i’m getting really good at them!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
saying guess what, chicken butt<\/i> a few times a week. and having somebody actually respond.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
beach days and using our standup paddle boards<\/a>!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n

people giving us free pizza<\/a>.\u00a0people giving us maine\u00a0lobster. free food<\/a> in general.<\/p>\n

being able to laugh <\/span>with the people around me,\u00a0in the middle of true hectic-ness.<\/p>\n
