Happy Tuesday everybody! I’m back in town and back to the swing of things {except for my voice, I left that in the mountains!}. I have a post with lots of camp pictures and stories to come! And whew, oh baby do we have stories. Husby showered me with gifts last night and a wonderful date and he is up, up and again, away on a little trip for work {awesome opportunity trip} but nonetheless, one where I am home he is not. I got a little sad\/pathetic this morning. But then I remembered he left me with chocolates.<\/div>\n

I’m starting off Tuesday with this lil\u00a0questionnaire! The sweetest lady\u00a0Cait Emma<\/span><\/a>\u00a0tagged me<\/span><\/a>\u00a0{cutest name ever, right?} so I hope you enjoy reading a few of these (hmmm), but I guess I more mean…I love to get to know\u00a0each-other\u00a0in this big wide internet. MY QUESTIONS<\/div>\n
1. If you could be a character in a book, which character’s life would you want to live out?\u00a0<\/i>I think the English major in me makes me want to answer this question with some crazy profound, life-changing answer. But I’ll just go with who I like today \ud83d\ude42 I would totally love to live out Sherlock Holmes life. I’m totally obsessed with late 19th century mystery drama, novels, etc. And I love how Sherlock Holmes sees things and pieces life together. He’s also incredibly crazy and non-traditional in all his practices. And I love that about him. He’s okay with his non-conventional-ness in a society that is a little freaked out by him.<\/div>\n

2. Moment of truth: pringles or goldfish?\u00a0<\/i>This is just a stinkin hard question {does that make me lame?} Well, I suppose I’ll go with goldfish!! Mostly because you can throw them into each other’s mouths. That’s just awesome.<\/div>\n

3. If you could have one superpower what would it be?\u00a0<\/i>Flying!! I always fly in my dreams, so that would be my superpower {hope my fear of heights doesn’t clash with that..}<\/div>\n

4. What is the first thing you would do with your super power?\u00a0<\/i>I would fly to some tropical island. It’s turning out my super power is a wee-bit “make Casey happy” rather than “save the world from destruction”…I suppose that can come after the tropical vacation.<\/div>\n

5. If you could go back in time and learn a talent\/language\/sport\/instrument etc. as a child, what would it be?\u00a0<\/i>I think I would learn ballet, it’s such a beautiful form of dance and I love seeing adults who have known it their whole lives!<\/div>\n

6. Where was your first kiss (a theatre, summer camp, a school dance etc.)?\u00a0<\/i>On a cliff overlooking Seacliff Beach in Aptos, California. {First kiss courtesy of my husband}<\/div>\n

8. Who is person in your life that you admire for a particular personality trait?<\/i>\u00a0I admire so many people in my life! A few: My husband for his boldness, my mother for her strength and care in the face of any circumstance, my pastor Priska for her willingness to go the long-haul with people {and me!}.<\/div>\n

9. One personality trait you love about yourself?\u00a0<\/i>I would say my joy. And it comes from\u00a0here<\/span><\/a>! I caught one of the youth the other day laughing at me because I was so full of joy, he told me it was an admiring-laugh \ud83d\ude42 Whatever the case, it’s easy for me to be happy!<\/div>\n

10. What is the weirdest\/ vivid dream you have ever had?\u00a0<\/i>Oh gosh, well the first one I think of I’m still forgetting because it was more nightmare than dream {stupid action movies with gnarly gore-y scenes}. I would say it’s not so weird but more vivid and I actually had it last week! Guys, it’s crazy but I totally was at home with my hubs and we had a baby in the second room, and it was ours {and he was so cute} and we were just all normal, la la la we have a baby, no big deal. But then I woke up and I was like what the heck, I’m still super nervous about that kind of thing but yet, I totally feel way more normal about it. It was super vivid, but did some sort of settle-my-heart-peaceful-thingy in my heart!<\/div>\n

11. Name one great thing in your life that blogging has done for you.\u00a0<\/i>You know, I read this all the time, but I love how it has connected me with this community of awesome women who get to share life with one another. I love sharing REAL life with the the people around me that I know and love. But I just feel like blogging blew up my world a little bit, it got all global on me and it’s just been one big fatty blessing. I love the people I’ve met!<\/div>\n
