Today is President’s day, but it’s also the day I can’t help but think of my grandma Ella’s birthday (which is the 22 & always close). For some reason, when I think of president’s day, all I can think of is my grandma..funny how our little kid minds make associations like that \ud83d\ude42\u00a0and to honor my lovely grandma Ella, I wanted to post some of the things she taught me..she was purty sassy, so obviously, some of these will be heartfelt, and some sassy!<\/span><\/p>\n

important things I remember from my grandmother <\/span>Ella<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
+just don’t give a dang about what others think!<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
+no matter the circumstances, always have a beautiful fur coat with a cute broach<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
+never give up no matter what society’s standards are; set your own.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
+invest love in your family and it will blossom for years<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
+enjoy the little things {like butterscotch candies}<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
+create, create, create in whatever way you can:\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
{sew, embroider, knit, cook, design, engineer, act, play, sing}<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
+be faithful to your kids, and even if they go against your wishes, don’t cut them off\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

grandma says no, bette packs up the car, grandma says no, bette is a teenager,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

+remember the important things and give them away as much as possible\u00a0{psalm 23}<\/span><\/span>
