2012 was a good year<\/b>…\u00a0however..the more that i thought about it and compiled all our highlights, i realized we had an <\/span>amazing<\/b> year! so many things have happened, as you’ll see below (and as i’m sure is true in your life)! looking back, i’m much <\/span>much<\/i>\u00a0more grateful than i ever knew.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
i’m grateful because this year had it’s fair share of rough moments, exhausting moments and some\u00a0disappointments, but you know what…the continual encouragement from my husband, our loved ones and heaven above have made it double full of love, joy and victories. and for that we are thankful \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/b>so with that, we’d love to wish you + yours a happy new year<\/u><\/b> and wishes for a most wonderful 2013! find last year’s review here<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n

january was full of tea<\/a> dates,\u00a0warrior<\/a> parties,\u00a0messy<\/a>\u00a0hair days,\u00a0getting refreshed<\/a> on all our charades moves..and we made<\/a> a lot of food<\/a>! we also got to make waffles w\/ our visiting\u00a0aussie friends<\/a>\u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

in february,\u00a0<\/b>i was distracted by all the puddle stomping opportunities, i\u00a0practiced<\/a>\u00a0self-control in the workplace, we\u00a0threw<\/a>\u00a0our annual oscar party, said\u00a0goodbye<\/a>\u00a0to some dear friends moving to socal,\u00a0celebrated<\/a>\u00a0love day\u00a0and had a\u00a0superbowl<\/a>\u00a0party! we also had some\u00a0rough days<\/a>\u00a0with our truck.. oh yeah and i realized james is a\u00a0baby<\/a>\u00a0whisperer!<\/div>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n
in march,\u00a0we tried to\u00a0pack<\/a>\u00a0for our move the following month and\u00a0enjoyed a date<\/a>\u00a0in our little village before we moved! we went to\u00a0winter camp<\/a>, threw a\u00a0flea market<\/a>\u00a0event and scored some awesome finds. james\u00a0got ready<\/a>\u00a0to go to convention in arizona!<\/div>\n

in april,\u00a0i finally\u00a0made my return<\/a>\u00a0to the motherland when i took a team of youth on a mission trip to\u00a0basel<\/a>, switzerland to help out some friends! oh and i\u00a0stayed in a castle<\/a>! we also moved…wow!<\/div>\n

may\u00a0included our\u00a0one year anniversary<\/a>!! james\u00a0surprised<\/a>\u00a0me with a\u00a0getaway<\/a>\u00a0in a fun little place called santana row! and i tried out\u00a0boot camp<\/a>..<\/div>\n

june.\u00a0well…james got himself a\u00a0mohawk<\/a>, we had\u00a0vacation bible school<\/a>, had a few ice cream\u00a0dates<\/a>..<\/div>\n

july??\u00a0we went to\u00a0camppppp<\/a>!! i practiced using\u00a0my slr<\/a>\u00a0camera, celebrated jasper’s\u00a0birthday<\/a>, had a\u00a0couple<\/a>\u00a0of little\u00a0dates<\/a>, played\u00a0softball<\/a>\u00a0with some friends and had an\u00a0awesome<\/a>\u00a0fourth \ud83d\ude42<\/div>\n

in august,\u00a0turd mcferguson<\/a>\u00a0came into the picture. we pulled an\u00a0all-nighter<\/a>, i answered allll these\u00a0questions<\/a>, we\u00a0celebrated<\/a>\u00a0james’\u00a027th birthday<\/a>\u00a0(!!!!!) …and\u00a0a\u00a0few<\/a>\u00a0other\u00a0birthdays too \ud83d\ude42 we caught the first \u00a0forty-niners first game<\/a>\u00a0of the season, wore\u00a0mustaches<\/a>, watched a\u00a0movie on the beach<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0remembered the day<\/a>\u00a0we\u00a0fell in love!<\/div>\n

september:\u00a0we threw an awesome\u00a0pizza making party,<\/a>\u00a0ordered some\u00a0food off an ipad,<\/a>\u00a0discovered that james is still the\u00a0baby<\/a>\u00a0whisperer, went on a\u00a0road trip<\/a>\u00a0across california to a wonderful\u00a0conference<\/a>, took a group of gals to my favorite\u00a0apple ranch<\/a>, did some\u00a0relaxing<\/a>\u00a0in the sun and sat *behind home plate<\/a>* to watch the world series winning giants play (no no, it wasn’t a playoff game!). i also remembered\u00a0this<\/a>.

in\u00a0october<\/a>, we made the most of autumn by\u00a0picking lots of pumpkins<\/a>, playing at our favorite\u00a0berry farms<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0taking a trip<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0orange county<\/a>\u00a0to be with family + watch our\u00a0friends get hitched<\/a>!\u00a0swiss family<\/a>\u00a0came into town and we encouraged the\u00a0growing of james beard<\/a>\u00a0of glory.\u00a0i also had a\u00a0weekend away with the ladies<\/a>\u00a0and helped party it up with my dear friend who’s\u00a0preggy with twinsies<\/a>!\u00a0i also\u00a0got a little sick<\/a>\u00a0and won a cute\u00a0necklace<\/a>\u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/a><\/p>\n

in\u00a0november, i\u00a0celebrated<\/a>\u00a0my\u00a0twenty-fifth birthday<\/a>, moved into a\u00a0new apartment<\/a>\u00a0+ painted it dark blue {a dream come true!}, threw a party for our\u00a0newly engaged<\/a>\u00a0friends and had thanksgiving\u00a0not once<\/a>, but\u00a0twice<\/a>!
\n…and one of them included a\u00a0talent show<\/a>\u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

in\u00a0december, we celebrated all that is\u00a0christmas<\/a>\u00a0and made a\u00a0few different<\/a>\u00a0trips\u00a0up to the city<\/a>! i also had a day to\u00a0rest<\/a>\u00a0while i figured out the\u00a0mystery<\/a>\u00a0that is my secret santa! we also had fun\u00a0decorating<\/a>..<\/p>\n
